America loves baseball, and to kick off the 2016 season a group of au pairs in the San Francisco Bay Area enjoyed the sights and sounds of this favorite pastime! It was a warm and sunny Sunday in March when a group of over 25 au pairs attended a University of California Berkeley baseball game. The group showed up ready and excited, many dressed in Blue and Gold to cheer on the hometown Cal Berkeley Bears. They were eager to show their pride but also equally enthusiastic about learning the rules of the American sport.

This past summer, InterExchange hosted a cultural event in New York City for all of its J-1 participants in the area. Participants and Interexchange staff rode the Staten Island Ferry to the Richmond County Bank Ballpark to watch the Staten Island Yankees play the Aberdeen IronBirds.

With 22 InterExchange staff members, 12 Summer Work Travel (SWT) participants and 25 Career Training USA participants, InterExchange was well represented! Participants  hailed from countries including China, Ireland, Lithuania, and Russia.

InterExchange Work & Travel USA participants recently had the chance to enjoy a truly American experience: attending a baseball game. For most, it was the first baseball game they had ever seen firsthand.

In New York, over 30 international students joined InterExchange staff members to watch the Staten Island Yankees play the Aberdeen Ironbirds on July 17th.
