Program Associate for Communications opening at NCIV

The National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) is looking to fill the position of Program Associate for Communications in their Washington, DC office. See the full position description below, and visit the NCIV website for further information.

The Program Associate for Communications is responsible for various categories of NCIV's communications. Daily tasks include creating, editing, and producing written materials and publications that are issued by the NCIV office to members of the network; working with NCIV Board committees; and helping with NCIV's advocacy efforts, including attending meetings in Congressional offices and following up with members on Action Alerts.

This position requires strong written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and time management skills; word processing and electronic communication skills; patience, diplomacy, and ability to express self clearly; B.A. in International Relations, Communications, Public Relations, or a Liberal Arts field; M.A. preferred; at least two years of experience working in an office environment. Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office; experience with or willingness to learn InDesign and Photoshop required.
