Job opening: Director of Employer Relations - Intrax Work and Travel

Intrax Cultural Exchange, based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Director of Employer Relations for its Work and Travel program. Details on the position are below:

Intrax Cultural Exchange, a leader in high quality international education and cultural exchange programs, is seeking a seasoned professional for a position as Director of Employer Relations. Every year, Intrax provides thousands of international university students with the opportunity to work and live in the United States. Intrax is designated by the U.S. Department of State as a J-1 sponsor.

The Director of Employer Relations is responsible for managing a team of Regional Account Managers who recruit and work with U.S. companies to find suitable temporary employment opportunities for international university students on work exchange programs. The Director of Employer Relations will work from our headquarters in the financial district of San Francisco in a fast-paced environment of globally minded professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Regional Account Managers located throughout the United States
  • Adhere to sales goals, oversee the development of incentives, monitor performance and identify strategies to improve performance of Regional Account Managers
  • Directly develop relationships with employers on a corporate level to establish centralized recruitment strategy with key accounts which will be serviced by Regional Account managers
  • Support Regional Account Managers in their client pipeline building, qualification and closing
  • Liaison with the marketing department to developing marketing campaigns, collateral and lead generation tools
  • Liaison with the operations department to ensure employer demand is optimized with international recruiting
  • Present comprehensive program performance reports to executive management
  • Assist and provide oversight on escalated support issues with employers and participants
  • Work closely with IT group to coordinate lead management and assignment, ensure sales processes are reflected in Salesforce.com and develop reporting capabilities
  • Adhere to Department of State regulations for exchange program
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Develop annual operating budgets and provide fiscal direction to the program; approve and monitor budget expenditures
  • Must be willing to travel 1 week of every month within the USA and occasional international travel

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years B2B client management or account management experience in a service-oriented business including remote field staff accountability
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Experience in sales metrics design and tracking
  • Experience selling to human resource professionals a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited U.S. university
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong preference for international or cross-cultural experience; second/third language skills a definite plus
