The Alliance was pleased to welcome its first three Partner members to the fold during its 2010 Membership Meeting, held October 5-6 in Washington, DC. These new Alliance Partners are: Taxback.com and ISPS, represented at the Membership Meeting by Fidelma McGuirk and Aiofe Twohig, and Compass Benefits Group, represented by John Fleming.

The 2010 Alliance Membership Meeting kicks off on October 5 with a luncheon address by Ann Stock, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs. Assistant Secretary Stock's speech will be followed by two days of intensive engagement with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, interaction intended to further invigorate our partnership across the broad range of our shared activities and interests.

The Fulbright Association has announced that Bill and Melinda Gates will receive the 2010 Fulbright Prize on Friday, October 15, at a ceremony and reception from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the U.S. Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

The Alliance is very pleased to announce that Ann Stock, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, will be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Alliance Membership Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for October 5-6, 2010, in Washington, DC. Assistant Secretary Stock will speak at the opening luncheon on October 5.
