International exchange programs are an American superpower: they drive our economy, create future leaders, advance American interests, and tell America’s story. Every day is a celebration of exchanges but on the first Monday of every August, we intentionally take the time to celebrate and raise awareness about exchange programs and to spread the word about the many ways in which people and communities benefit from people-to-people diplomacy.
